MAPA's annual conference started in 1978 and is usually held in the Baltimore metropolitan area as a majority of PAs in Maryland are here. Held in the fall of each year, it is entitled "Trends in Patient Management" and is an update on recent medical practice in a variety of areas. The MAPA annual meeting is held in conjunction with the conference. The Presidential awards, as well as MAPA student scholarship awards, are usually presented at this meeting.

Plan to attend this year for continuing medical education credit as well as professional interaction with your colleagues and friends. We'll see you there!

The 2008 Fall Conference will be held September 4-7 (Thursday through Sunday) in Ocean City, MD. The conference will again be held at the Clarion. Visit the Conference Information pages for details.

The February exam review course is no longer being offered.

The Journal Clubs, begun in 2000, are one hour CME's held at local pubs and have been very popular in the Washington and Frederick counties. MAPA is considering expanding them to other areas.
