I would be greatly honored to continue to represent the PAs in Maryland at the AAPA House of Delegates meeting in 2018. While 2017 was my first year representing the state, I have been on the House floor in my role at Chair of the AAPA Commission on the Health of the Public. It can be difficult to look at both short- and long-term implications of the resolutions before the floor as well as understanding the potential implications for both our profession and out interaction with medical colleagues and our patients. However, I am confident that we and our fellow delegates can make a decision that is the most appropriate one for our state. I hope that I can have your vote and continue to represent the needs of not just the MAPA membership but of all the PAs in Maryland.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Deanna Bridge Najera, MPAS, MS, PA-C, NCC
