Hello fellow PAs!

I am excited at the possible opportunity to represent MAPA and our state as a representative for AAPA in the House of Delegates in 2017. I represented our state in 2015 at the national conference and was able to speak up on behalf of the constituency we surveyed on the issues of requiring doctorates for PAs, changing the PA name, and other controversial issues. I have enjoyed serving as MAPAs vice president but I will be turning over the reigns this year to spend more time with my young children. But I would appreciate your vote to represent Maryland as one of your delegates to HOD in 2017. In addition to serving as Vice President for MAPA for the past several years and as a delegate in 2015, I have also served on the membership committee for MAPA, as a student rep for the Virginia Academy of PAs, and as delegate for the Assembly of Representatives as a student for AAPA. If elected I will continue to seek out the opinions of fellow PAs as well as the board to serve the interests of our fellow state providers in order to contribute a true representation of our state constituency member’s views. Thank you for your time and your vote!

Sincerely,

Michelle Jiles Hill, MSPAS, PA-C
