Attention Maryland PAs!!!

You are needed to attend!!!

WHAT: Open Meeting of the full Board of Physicians

WHERE: Maryland Board of Physicians
4201 Patterson Avenue
Baltimore, Maryland 21215

WHEN: Wednesday, March 30, 2016 beginning at 9am sharp!
WHY: Dr. Ronald Ginsberg addresses BOP regarding PA Supervision!
WHO should attend?!? YOU!!

Physicians on the BOP are looking to make physician supervision of PAs more restrictive! Is that what you want? Is that what your supervising physician wants?

This is not a joke! They are considering legislation for next legislative session to make PA practice in this state more restrictive despite all of our recent improvements! They need to know that the PAs of Maryland will not support reverting back to the "dark ages" when no one knew what a PA was. Your voice needs to be heard, as well as your supervising physician's voice! Dr. Ginsberg is presenting on behalf of MAPA, hopefully, to explain the hospital-based practice of PA credentialing, etc., and why the delegation of duties should be left to those credentialing the PAs! MAPA can do only so much! Your voice and presence counts! Let them know that they will have an uphill battle should they pursue this ill-advised change to statute in Maryland.

Following this meeting, there is talk of the formation of a "work-group" to study PA supervision, and we need willing individuals to participate and provide advice/report to the BOP.

With all sincerity,
Theresa Neumann, PA-C
